Greeneville/Greene County Municipal Airport is the sixth largest in the state. Several corporate jets land there daily, as do over 30 general aviation planes.
Named "Airport of the Year" in 1992 by the Tennessee Aeronautics Commission, the airport is attended 24 hours a day and offers chartered flights and cargo shipping. Taxi and car rental services, hangar and tie-down storage, major repair and Avgas/Jet A fuel are all available.
I.F.L. Corporation Express serves the airport, which boasts a 6,300x100 foot asphalt runway. The fixed base operator is Greeneville Aviation Services.
Tri-Cities Regional Airport, located just off I-81 40 miles from Greeneville, serves 450,000 passengers annually.
